2016 In Retrospect: VIETNAM

VIETNAM is all about food – fresh vegetables, fruits and seafood. They have this incredible skills of using spices on food, making a simple meal taste superb. It is also about temples, Mekong River and rural adventure.

It was torn by war which somehow defined their way of life in these times of peace and progress. The war became somewhat a reference in their lives and thus resulting to rare violent crimes.

But my incredulous experience was taking more than 15 minutes just to cross a street swarming with motorbikes even with the blinking green light across me and pedestrian crossing. Our guide quipped: “motorbikes? Yellow, go. Green, go. Red, go”.

Have a glimpse of my incredible Vietnam experience!
